2021 - Traffic Violation Detection System

Developed a Traffic Violation Detection System using Python and OpenCV, aimed at monitoring intersections, traffic lights, and vehicles in real time. The system leverages computer vision to analyze the behavior of vehicles in relation to traffic signal states and automatically detect potential violations. All detected vehicles are displayed with bounding boxes, allowing users to clearly observe traffic flow and vehicle movements.

One of the core features is its ability to identify red light violations: when a vehicle crosses during a red light, the system flags the incident and visually highlights it through the user interface.
